Gopi Chand Loukyam Movie Review

LOUKYAM MOVIE REVIEW

Loukyam-review
  • Film : Loukyam
  • Producer :  V. Anand Prasad
  • Director : Sriwass
  • Star Cast : Gopichand, Rakul Preet Singh, Brahmanandam...
  • Music Director : Anoop Rubens
  • Rating : fullfullfullfullfull 3
After the critically acclaimed 'Sahasam,' hero Gopichand is back with 'Loukyam.' It is also the second collaboration of Gopichand with 'Lakshyam' director Sriwass. Rakul Preet Singh romanced with Gopichand in the film and Brahamanandam is playing a vital role.

Loukyam-review

Story :

Venky [Gopichand] is a fun going and a normal guy like any other. He helps Babji's [Sampath Raj[ elder sister to escape who is in a danger. From here Babji will be in search of Venky and also his sister. Change in the location, Venky shifts to Hyderabad. He meets Chandra Kala [Rakul Preet Singh] and falls in love with her. As the story unfolds, it gets revealed that Chandra Kala is the younger sister of Babji who stays with Satya [Rahul Dev] for her studies. Getting to know about Chandra Kala's relation with Venky, Babji takes back to Warangal. The rest of the story is how Venky solves all the problems and wins his love.

Analysis :

 Loukyam-review

Our Tollywood directors and writers are repeating the same stories in different ways however, are offering something new in the hero characterisation and screenplay. Loukyam also does not offer us anything fresh but it is the presentation that made it a watchable one. The main asset of the film is comedy, the director balanced the entertainment levels quite good in both first and second half and so audience will find the movie entertaining.

The first half is good and we can expect a predictable interval bang while the second half is also the same, but we will get diverted by the comedy scenes. As I said, the director clearly succeeded in providing ample of laughs to this routine plot.

Performance :

 Loukyam-review
You will see a fresh and energetic Gopichand in Loukyam. He looks more handsome, mesmerizes his charm and also makes us laugh. This is probably the first film where Gopichand focused on comedy and it really worked. His scenes with Brahamanandam are laugh riot, audience will enjoy them to the core. Rakul Preet is beautiful and did justice to her role. We can say Rakul Preet is inching towards the top league of Tollywood. Brahamanandam again steals the show. Rather than we say, watch out for him.

Coming to the technical stuff, music is good and background score is also apt. cinematography needs special mention. Songs are visual feast and shot at good locations.

Final Word:
Loukyam is clean and comedy entertainer from Gopichand but we have to see how the audiences will display their Loukyam in the success of the film.

Aagadu-review

Story

Encounter specialist Shankar [Mahesh Babu] is transferred to a small village named Bhukkapatnam. This village is ruled by a goon, Damodar shortly called Damu [Sonu Sood] who runs many illegal businesses. Initially Shankar doesn't involve in Damodar business but as the things change gradually. Shankar starts fighting back against Damodar who threatens the poor people.
However, in a twist Shankar gets to know about a truth that has affected his family and then takes revenge against Damodar. What is the truth and how Shankar is related to Damodar forms the entire plot.

Analysis :

 Aagadu-review

.Over the years, Tollywood has met with these kind of stories and few of them clicked at box office while others had to taste bitter. There is also nothing that was offered in Aagadu but was presented in a different way, however once the twist is revealed, audience can predict the film. Nevertheless, Mahesh Babu should be credited to carry the film on his shoulders. The first half of the film is good and entertaining. The second half lets down the film. Brahmanandam provides few laughs in the second part.
Music of the film is a huge plus point. After Race Gurram, Thaman has delivered another super hit album. All the songs are filmed extremely lavish and are visual feast to eyes. Cinematography should be appreciated as Mahesh looks more handsome than ever. The technicians did justice to their job.

Performance :

 Aagadu-review
Well, what can we say about Mahesh. He gave penultimate performance. His mannerism, dialogue delivery and body languages, each and everything appears fresh and provide ample of entertainment to the audience. We have to find what Namrata is feeding Mahesh with, as he is getting younger and younger with every film. Probably satires and punch dialogues of Mahesh will go viral in the next few days.
Tamannah has seriously no scope and she resembles Shruti Haasan from Gabbar Singh. But she is good at providing glamour and also made a good pair with the Superstar. Shruti Haasan special song is also good. Rest of the cast, Rajendra Prasad, Ajay, Posani and Rao Ramesh are okay in their roles.
Final Word:Aagadu is an out and out Mahesh Babu commercial film. Die hard fans, go watch it and audience give a try.

Story

Jr NTR [Karthik] lands in Hyderabad after finishing his masters in US. As per his mother's [Jayasudha] wish, Karthik joins the college of Indu [Samantha] to make her fall in love with him. Karthik unites a couple and this leads to a fight between the families of Naagineedu and Jayaprakash Reddy. Karthik takes the responsibility of uniting both these families. How is Karthik related to Samantha? Why does Karthik want to unite the families? All the questions form the plot of Rabhasa

Analysis :

 Rabhasa-review

This is out and out routine story and offers nothing freshness. Jr NTR should start working on out of the box stories rather than settling for safe bets like six songs and four fights formula. NTR is only the saviour of Rabhasa and rest of the cast have nothing to say. Too many characters confuse the plot and complex screenplay make things even worse for Rabhasa.

The first half of the film is completely routine and second half is much better. Brahmanandam steals the show. Samantha and Pranitha are completely wasted and except for songs, they don't have enough scope.

Performance :

 Rabhasa-review

As we said above, Jr NTR is the only saving grace of the film. His performance in teasing scenes and emotional episodes are wonderful. Samantha is confined glamor show while Pranitha vanishes from the entire film without any reason. Jayasudha's appearance is very limited.

Final Word:
Rabhasa Movie Review Rabhasa is routine... routine... routine...
