 Thuneega Thuneega

Story

The story starts with Shayaji Shinde praying at Church, Temple and Masjid. He takes the viewers back to a few years where the title song Tuneega Tuneega will be played. The movie revolves around two characters Karthik (Sumanth Ashwin) and Nidhi. Karthik (Sumanth) will fall in love with Nidhi (Rhea), the daughter of business magnate Ravinder (Naga Babu). Ravinder and Karthik's father Ramaswamy are close friends and Ramaswamy is a cook by profession. But, during their childhood, Nidhi and Karthik will be arch rivals.

Analysis :

 Thuneega Thuneega
Karthik Raja's music is not good. His background score was also not that good. Since this is a musical love story, the music has to be good and unfortunately Tuneega Tuneega's music was not soothing. Dialogues of Paruchuri brothers were good but then they were old and people are bugged up listening those routine dialogues.
The camera work of Gopal Reddy was outstanding. This was one of the major assets of the film. If the movie is receiving mixed responses, it's due to the good cinematography. Otherwise, there's nothing much to enjoy in this film. Editing and screenplay were not up to the mark. The second half of the movie was just a little boring. The costumes of both hero and heroine were good. There's not much comedy also in the film

Performance :

 Thuneega Thuneega
Sumanth Ashwin was ok. He danced well. Rhea gave her best and looked good on screen. Shayaji Shinde performed well. Prabhu'a acting received thumbs up. Nagendra Babu was hilarious. He gave his best and he is most likely to get Nandi award for his acting in this film.
In a nutshell:
This movie is written and directed by MS Raju. He took around two years to complete this movie. His direction is okay and one cannot expect more than this from a producer-turned-director. The age old story and dull screenplay are the drawbacks of the film.
Assets:
-Art department
-Rich production
Setbacks:
-Old script
-Songs
-Direction
-Screeplay
Tuneega Tuneega Review : Tuneega Tuneega is a romantic musical entertainer

David Billa

Story

The plot revolves round a Tamil refugee from Sri Lanka who eventually trurns into underworld don Billa. The story unfolds as to why a common man David turns into Mafia Don Billa. David is a Tamil refugee from Sri Lanka. The first few minutes show the plight of the refugees which is remarkably narrated. How David meets Jasmine (Pravathy Omnakuttan) and Sameera (Bruna Abdullah) forms the sidetrack of the story. While David’s encounters with Dimitri (Vidyut Jamwal) and how David transforms into Billa is the main part of David Billa.

Analysis :

David billa movie reviewThe titles of the movie are good as David Billa's childhood is shown in photo sequences. The plot lacked the power. Since David Billa becomes rich overnight, there has to be more punch in the movie but the director made it very simple and that's where director supposedly lost the movie. There are no twists and turns in the movie. Whatever, David Billa expects, he will get them without doing anything. Therefore, there is nothing that interesting to keep audience engaged. Some movie viewers said they could easily guess what the next scene would be. On technical front, the team did its best but the story made the film sink. Costumes of Ajith were good.

Performance :

David Billa reviewAjith gave his best in David Billa 2. He looked good in the movie. The way he carried himself was undoubtedly outstanding. Some punch dialogues uttered by Ajith in his own style wooed the hysterical fans. Bruna was ok. Parvathi Omanakutta has no role to play and didn't give her best anyway. Vidyut was stylish and so was Sudhanshu Pandey.
Final Word:Billa 2 is action-thriller that lacked good script

Story

When the titles of Eega run on the silver screen, we hear voice of director Rajamouli narrating stories to children. When children plead him to narrate an unusual story, he will pick up Eega story. We see (Samantha) Bindu in the first scene followed by Nani. They both fell in love with eachother although Bindu never expresses her love for Nani. Meanwhile, Bindu (who is a social worker) approaches the business magnate Sudeep to raise funds for a cause. Sudeep, who happens to be a womanizer, will get attracted to the beauty of Samantha and follows her. When he gets to know that Nani was after Samantha, he hatches plot to kill Nani and accomplishes the same. All this happens within first half-an-hour and then comes Eega, the hero of the film.
Nani, who gets killed by Sudeep, will reincarnate as a housefly. The little create fortunately remembers the remniscences of the past life and chooses to take revenge on Sudip. The remaining part of the story will unveil a series of scenes filled with graphics and animations, which will undoubtedly be a feast to the eyes!

Analysis :

Eega movie review
Eega is not just an animation movie. It's a classic love story. The plot selected by Rajamouli was different, but it has definately made a difference as people welcomed the alignment of graphics with a pure love story. The good amount of graphics that went into the picture is a visual treat. The action sequences of Eega and the introduction of the character were beautifully sketched by Rajamouli. The screenplay and dialogues were good and so were the costumes of Sudip and Samantha designed by Rama Rajamouli. For the first time in Tollywood, a movie went close to Hollywood film. The introduction scene of Eega reminds us of the famous flick Avatar.
The best part of Eega is the expressions of the housefly. To convey a message to its ex-life lover, Eega makes different buzz. The dubbing (buzz) of Eega is given by Rajamouli. Background score of the movie is also another asset and the credit goes to MM Keeravani. The two songs looked good on screen while the climax dance by Eega received good response.

Performance :

Eega review
When we talk of performances in Eega movie the first place is occupied by Sudeep. As a filthy rich businessman, who takes the role of antagonist to win his love, Sudeep's performance made audiences awestruck while Samantha was looking gorgeous. Her facial expressions played a key role in conveying the feelings of an average girl who lost her love. Nani has a very little role and supposedly gave his best. And Eega's performance was awesome...err...the credit again goes to Rajamouli and his animation team. The comedy sequences by Thaagubothu Ramesh tickled the ribs of the audiences.
In a nutshell: In Tollywood, its usually heroes or heroines who drag audiences to theatres and for the first time people are thronging theatres only for the sake of a director. The credit obviously goes to Rajamouli who proved that if there's stuff in a director, he can cast a housefly as the hero and make it a big hit. With Eega, the outlook of Telugu Cinema changed completely. Hatts off to Rajamouli for spreading the name and fame of Telugu Cinema across the globe.
Final Word: Eega is Rajamouli's touch of social fantasy.

Eega Review

S S Rajamouli the director to give wings to dreams is all set to test waters with his latest science fiction cinema, Naan Ee in Tamil and Eega in Telugu. In fact Bengaluru will be the only place with equal number of screens having the the same film in both the  languages and with sub titles in Kannada. The director is acclaimed for his natural pangs in narrating imaginations like real life incidents. A classic example for the Director's prowess is Magadheera. However this would be the first time that Rajamouli is embarking on a Science fiction.
Eega01
Expectations and hypes have escalated peaks by the very good response given by the inner circles of the South Film Industry. Naan Ee (Eega) got very good positive talk from the Censor board Officials too, say sources. The mega budget Naan Ee (Eega) boasts of Hollywood technical excellence for which the crew spent a whopping Rs  7 Cr, say sources. And the whole budget for the film started with a shoestring forecast of Rs 2 Cr, but has escalated, after the narration began, to nearly Rs 26 Cr.  Today being the D Day, Naan Ee (Eega) is releasing across the globe on 1200 screens. Critics say Naan Ee (Eega) will be trend setter when talked about technical brilliance.
Eega02
The expectations are pitching high because of various reasons, one is that Naan Ee (Eega) star cast include Samantha and Naani in the lead and the third prominent is Kannada star Sudeep in the antagonist role. But the twist is that the hero shares the screen space only for a brief time and returns after his death as a house fly or as Naan Ee (Eega). The torture that the animated creature does to take revenge on the villain is the rest of the story. Rajamouli genearlly plans of a long flash back and the narration would surely be above par, say sources.
Eega03
'Yep! Done! Finished! Now the most irritating part is the waiting period till 6th..:)' tweeted Rajamouli. Probably undergoing the pre-delivery blues. Awaiting to showcase his creation to win rich accolades from one and all.
Eega04
A versatile actor in Kannada Sudeep makes his Kollywood and Tollywood entry with this film and is so confident of its success. "There's no denying that the film has created a lot of buzz across India, irrespective of the language the people speak. The fact that Bollywood makers are talking about this film is proof that the team has achieved its first step. I'm privileged to be part of such a film," remarks Sudeep.
Eega05
Samantha who is on cloud nine with her back to back super hits in South is sure to be on a block buster  hunt say sources. And about her role in the Naan Ee (Eega), Samantha hoping that this film would give her career in Kollywood a grand boost. As it may be noted that the star was launched in Telugu by a Tamil Director and now in Tamil by a Telugu one. Naan Ee (Eega) is sure to give her a winning edge.
Eega06
How would the Tollywood star Naani think of being directed by the mega director Rajamouli. In Naan Ee (Eega). No words can express his feelings. When questioned about his brief role, the actor was quite brilliant. He remarked that doing nothing and staying for two and half hours and doing something extrordinary for ten minutes in a film does make a lot of difference to the career of an aspiring star. True the character that stays within one's heart for sometime does bring success to a versatile artiste and Naan belongs to that genre.
Eega07
On the whole it is an entertainment packed in the life of an house fly. And Naan Ee (Eega) is ready to take its maiden flight, probably completed too as the morning show is getting over. Watch out Wishesh Movie reviews for indepth analysis of the film. (With inputs from internet- AW AarKay)
