The much awaited film of Bheemaneni Srinivas Rao staring Allari Naresh has hit the theatres across the globe today. Just like how everyone expected, the movie was a complete out and out comedy flick with a series of parodies. Right from scene one to till the climax, if you wish to have 100 per cent entertainment on your cards, then Sudigadu is your right choice. This film is a remake of Tamil flick, Thamizh Padam. Story

The story revolves around Shiva, who was born with a six pack body to one Kamesh (Allari Naresh) and Hema. As soon as Shiva takes birth, Thikkal Reddy (JP) who played antagonist wanted to eliminate the dynamic baby. In order to save Shiva, Kamesh persuades his mother (Kovai Sarala) to leave for Hyderabad along with Shiva. Kamesh's son, Shiva grows up at Hyderabad and turns into a dynamic hero, who has powers like a Telugu cinema hero. Right from making bullets stop to challenging time, there was nothing impossible for Shiva. Meanwhile, Thikkal Reddy's gang will still be in a man hunt to catch Shiva and eliminate him. What happens next is the main twist of the movie.

Analysis :

The parodies of the film are hillarious. The screenplay was good. Songs were not appealing. Since this movie is a spoof of over 100 Telugu films, audience enjoyed each and every parody especially on a television reality show and an anchor. Bheemaneni Srinivas Rao managed to entertain the audiences to the core with his exceptional direction. Cinematography was okay and so was the editing. Since the spoofs were just for mere entertainment and contained no hatred or insulting message, they looked good and were enjoyed by fans of big heroes too.

Performance :

Allari Naresh was outstanding. Monal Gajjar (female lead) gave her best. Jaya Prakash gave his best too. Brahmanandam entertains the audience as Jaffa Reddy. Srinivas Reddy tickled the ribs by donning the spoof of Siddha character from Khaleja film.

Puri Jagannadh's Devudu Chesina Manushulu was released on independence day. The much hyped movie of Puri Jagannadh supposedly bombed at the box office as the movie didn't live up to the expectations of the audience. There was nothing special in the movie and Puri seemed to have not paid enough attention while sketching the characters. Story

The story revolves around two orphans—Ravi Teja and Ileana—created by Lord Vishnu (played by Brahmanandam. The story opens with Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi (Kovaisarala). Brahmanandam promises Kovai that he would show her an entertaining story and that's where the story begins (although it's not strong). Ileana will be a cab driver in Thailand while Ravi Teja will play a mediator. In a cinematic way, the couple happens to meet each other and falls in love.

Analysis :

There are many draw backs of the film. Although people don't care for logic, Puri should have not brought in Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi into the picture. Brahmanandam and Kovaisarala looked terrible as Vishnu and Lakshmi. Even on a comedy note, they really didn't fit into the role. The music of Devudu Chesina Manushulu was just okay. People were confused as to why a song came all of a sudden. Abrupt songs rubs salt into the wounds of the viewers. The background score of Raghu Kunche was not appealing. On the technical front, cinematography was not good. It could have been much, much better.
The script of DCM is weak and so is the screenplay. Although this movie was a love story, there was no proper attention paid by the director towards the love scenes. There were no punch dialogues too in DCM. The second half of the movie is certainly a set back. Right from cinematographer to costumes to script, no thumbs down to DCM.

Performance :

Ravi Teja gave his best. Ileana was okay too but emphasis was more on exposing than acting. Prakash Raj was again just ok. Ali's acting was outstanding. Brahmanandam and Kovaisarala were not okay. Since script itself was weak and so was the story, there was in fact, no scope for performance anyway.

Final Word: Devudu Chesina Manushulu Entertainment lost in narration.

Andala Rakshashi, which created much hype and attraction with its trailers and songs, failed to live up to the expectations of the audience. Released this Friday, Andala Rakshashi is certainly a typical South Indian film, which takes audience back to early 90 s. If you don't mind watching a stereo-type movie, then you would certainly enjoy this movie. Otherwise, think twice! Anyway, go through our quick review.

Story

Andala Rakshashi (meaning beautiful devil) revolves around Gautham (Rahul) and Mithuna (Lavanya). It's a real typical love story wherein girl initially gets irritated when hero follows her and which she eventually falls in love with him. The protagonist hails from an affluent section and falls for Mithuna at the first sight. Mithuna and Surya (Naveen) will already be in love by the time Gautam sees Mithuna. Unfortunately Mithuna will meet with an accident and Gautam takes care of her until she's out of danger. Mithun, after gaining consciousness, keeps asking about Surya and she will be told that Surya was dead. Although, Gautam later expresses his love to Mithuna, she turns it down as she could not forget Surya. After all odds, Gautam succeeds in winning Mithuna's love. But, what happens next will become the main twist of the film.

Analysis :

The direction of Hanu Raghavapudi was not that interesting, at least in the first half wherein every scene would literally bore people. The picturization of emotional scenes could have been better. The climax, which was said to be the twist of the film, is one of the major set backs, which apparently didn't appeal the audience. There's literally no entertainment in the movie and screenplay was dull. On a brighter side, the cinematography was good and so was the background score and songs.

Performance :

Lavanya's performance is the main asset to the film. She did her best. Rahul Ravindran was okay if not outstanding. Naveen did his best. CVL Narasimha Rao too acted well. Remaining all gave their best. In terms of performance, all were okay.
