Karthik [Aadi] and Swathi [Erica] are couple who work in a software firm. There are regarded as the best couple in their company and even win the 'Best Couple award.' But on the flipside, they are unhappy with each other because they don't believe in marriage kind of institute. Also Karthik and Swathi have unsolved past with Parineeti [Kristina Akhheva] and Arav [Rahul Ravindran] respectively and finally they decide to move away.
Will they get separated or realize the importance of marriage forms the plot.
This is an contemporary subject. Firstly the choice of script is absolutely good and we can say that debutant director Naveen Gandhi did a tremendous job in execution also. Though the film is an intense one from beginning to ending, audience will never feel they get bored and in fact they get engaged with the film. Narration, Dialogs, music, editing are extremely good and neatly done. The only demerit is screenplay should have been more gripping.
Climax of the film is good unlike the routine these days and ends with a good, passive message.
Aadi fills the shoes aptly and we can notice maturity in his performance. He is also slowly becoming Jr Dialog King and in climax, Aadi steals the show. Erica also got a meaty and mature role. She made a promising start. Rahul Ravindran did not have much importance but did justice to his role and rest of the cast were fine.
Final Word: Galipatam Movie Review As the makers were saying right from the beginning, this is a bold movie, in fact Galipatam is seriously a bold movie to make an attempt. The makers have succeeded but it may be well received by the multiplex audiences majorly.
