Story

The film is set in 1950s, Kamala Rani [Archana] is call girl in a small time village. Except for body, nobody cares for Kamala which makes her to go in depression. But Kamala is hopeful that one day a man will come who really lovers her rather than her body.

One night in a heavy rainfall, Suryanarayana [Sivaji] stops at Kamala's home for shelter. However she thinks that Suryanarayana is also one among the men who lusts for body. Later when they start talking to each other Kamala and Suryanarayana fall in love.

Is Suryanarayana the one Kamala was waiting for and will both get married and settled down happily form the entire plot.

Analysis :

The story of the is simple and understandable. Human values and emotions which are missing in present movies are ample in this film. The first half of the movie is okay and the second half has the entire soul of the film. The last half-an-hour is good but the climax is predictable and the snail pace test the audience patience.
Music is biggest drawback for this film. They sound routine, boring and come as speed breakers to the flow of the film.

Performance :

Archana for the first time played a call girl role and she did an impressive job. She did show some skin to resemble with the character and displayed right kind of emotions.

Sivaji has a major role in this film but he did lot more to his character than what the director actually wanted.
The entire film runs on three characters and director should be credited for such a bold attempt.

Final Word: Kamalatho Naa Prayanam Movie Review This is an complete art film indirectly aimed for awards. As a common audience, a one time watcher for a different experience.

Legend starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sonal Chauhan and Radhika Apte had its music launch yesterday. The music is provided by Tollywood sensation Devi Sri Prasad and it is his first for Balakrishna. Let's check out how DSP composed tunes.

1) Legend: The album kick starts with an energetic Title track Legend which was used for the teaser. ML Karthikeyan crooned it and coming to the lyrics, they are greatly packed and have sense.

2) Time Bomb: This is a funky song. Narendra and Rita are the singers. We can say Time Bomb song has typical DSP style. [ I mean it sounds little routine].

3) Nee Kanti Choopullo: A melodious track. Nee Kanti Choopullo song is soothing to ears and sung amazingly by Vijay Yesudas and Chitra. Both the singers did a great job, hope the visual will be more colorful.

4) Thanjavuru: This song echoes like a celebration song. Sooraj Santosh and Harini are the singers. However Thanjavuru definitely sounds a usual number.

5) Om Sarvani: This is classical song composed brilliantly in Carnatic Raaga Hamsadhwani. Sung by M.M.Mansi. Om Sarvani is the best song of the album so far.

6) Lasku Tapa: Legend album comes to an end with an item number Lasku Tapa. Loud singer Malathi is back. Well DSP is master of item songs and this one too is good. We have to wait how Hamsa Nandi shakes her leg with Balayya.

Verdict:

Overall, a good attempt by DSP for a Balakrishna flick. Nee Kanti Choopullo and Om Sarvani are the best tracks in this album. The visual should be more rich and beautiful to attrack the audience.

Story

Bhanu (Swati) is an independent woman who works as a sale executive in an Energy Drink firm and Vamsi (Navdeep) is her colleague. Her manager (Harshavardhan) lusts for her but Bhanu keeps avoiding somehow. Unexpectedly Bhanu is in need of money and so after trying all the possibilities she hatches a plan to rob gold biscuits from a truck of her company. Bhanu involves Vamsi to execute this plan but they accidentally get involve in pizza delivery boy and a rich landlord murder.

The rest of the story is how Bhanu and Vamsi get rid off the crime and will their plan of robbery work out.

Analysis :

This is a simple story and has some stuff. The screenplay of the film is big asset. The interval bang is superb and nobody can predict it. The second half is better than first half. However, the intensity in the film drops which makes the audience yawn at times. Also to audience, don’t expect any conventional commercial formula elements like songs, fights and comedy tracks etc in this film. They are completely ignored.

Performance :

Swati is perfect choice for the script. After Swamy Ra Ra, yet again she impressed with her performance and her bubbliness brings glamor to the screen. She was spontaneous and hyper active. Coming to the male lead Navdeep, probably for the first time he did such a role. He was cool and composed.

Ram Laxman were the show stoppers. Yes the Action choreographer brothers did a very good job and it can be called as their comeback movie. Their acting skills won't disappoint and in fact they have matured as actors.

Final Word: Bangaru Kodipetta Movie Review This hen fails to give golden eggs but absolutely a one time watcher for fresh subject.
