Vennela 1 ½  Review is an out of world adult comedy that does not fit the bill in any local format, with lots of skin shows, unnaturally by men. However comedy is ample and the film might get well with movie buffs due to the frequent unwanted comedy.

Story

Four friends team up in Bangkok and they are up in antics that might irritate the viewers for some time in the first half. But believe me the director feels all this as comedy that is the disgusting point. Kadar (Kishore), Sunil (Madhu) Krishna Krishna (Chaitanya) and Yuvak (Harish) team up for the so called hilarious entertainer. Krishna bewitches the heroine Vennela (Monal Gujjar) at the behest of her father. And just at the moment as she is about to fall for him realizes the foul play and gets away from him. As she departs Krishna realizes what he has lost. And along with him Kadar and Sunil set out to woo the girl for him and that is the story.

Analysis :

Vennela 1 1/2 review Chaitanya as love guru who thrives on breaking relationships, plays his bit well, while Monal is cute. Chaitany dances very well in the dances. Comedy by Kishore and Madhu is hilarious at times but fails to pitch in momentum. Music by Sunil Kashyap is heart rendering.

Performance :

Vennela 1 1/2 review Average contributions from one all and Monal does not really fit into the role. There is not much she could do in this film. Basking on her earlier success in Sudigadu, this film just adds on her account. It is a directors debacle that is exposed in all entire film.
Vennela 1 1/2 is film of a different sort of exposing. Comedy is abundance but depends on how one takes. Worth watching once, but if you like it none will stop a second time
Final Word: Vennela 1 1/2  Review is a comedy caper and if you feel, you need a change it is worth watching once.

Story

The story is about a couple taking up an apartment in a gated community Classic Homes, in the city. Poorna and Harshavardhan Rane move into their new apartment and bask in the solitude. But right from day one Poorna feels an unknown intruder with them. And much to the couple's dismay the spooky character wants to consummate a relationship with Poorna. The very thought is horrifying. Meanwhile the kid next door comes to their aid and he has some extra powers with which he communicates with haunting spirits. Though many give a dime to his claims, the couple believe him. The kid Vicky reveals that one Captain Rao is haunting the flat. Now who is this Captain and how do the couple get out of his clutches and will they live in the apartment further or flee is the core of the narration that needs to be watched.

Analysis :

Avunu review The film that revolves around a family and the spooky character that is out to spoil there solitude, is well shot by the director. Poorna is the directors girl and single-handedly carries the film till the climax with her fresh histrionics. Harshavardhan Rane is equally good who initially disbelieves spooky encounters, but later changes opinion. As usual Ravi Babu as an actor excels and his character stands apart. Chalapathi Rao, Rajeshwari and the rest of the cast are tuned in well by the director.

Performance :

Avunu review The whole film shows the exuberance of the director while the actors only play their part of emotions. Ravi babu excels in handling the horrid parts with apt narration in the near to believe ploy. Music by Sekhar Chandra in the horror flick is sure to raise the spine and at times a little over dosage too. Sudhakar Reddy behind the camera is the most apt person and works like a conjoined twin to the director. Rather his every frame is inching the viewer to more suspense. They think alike and they depict alike is the watchword of the crew.
The Computer-generated Imagery in the film must have cost a fortune for the film budget. However it is well synch with the film narration, an ordinary eye can never judge the difference. Well done by the technicians involved along with the music and camera.
The total show time is encouraging and minus songs is a worthy exercise. Dialogues are less and screenplay is more, which fits the bill for an horror film. There is a new look in every aspect of the film that is worth watching.
Avunu is another different genre film from the hard disks of Ravi Babu. Making one wonder at the weird imagination of the young director who proves his mettle in narration and makes the whole film entertaining.
Final Word: Fear gets full length in Avunu Review, a suspense thriller with horror taking the center stage.

Life Is Beautiful Review

Life is beautiful (LIB) is an youthful entertainer, enlightening the circle of life. The theme is neatly sculpted around six youngsters who traverse through the various stages of life. LIB is well etched out into an whole some entertainer. Life Is Beautiful Review takes you down the memory lines and somewhere one is sure to strike a chord, with the narration and that is a point that is worth viewing. Especially the way the six try to bond and change their worlds, while enjoying every moment off it, is awesome. Hats of to Shekar Kammula for his thorough cynosure fair.

Story

LIB marks Shekar Kammula's signature style of introduction of characters as the camera slowly rolls on. LIB could be called as an extension of Shekar's earlier Happy days, where the adolescence takes the center stage. But here the transformation from teen age to adulthood, is deftly dealt in the ploy that needs to be commended. Six youngsters from a middle class backdrop are visibly transforming from students to adults and the way life takes various paths is what proceeds, and that needs to be watched.

Analysis :

Life is Beautiful review The story line is on a slower gear in the first half, but exquisite work of the camera and screenplay compensate the loss in momentum. This is mainly due to the introduction of all the prominent characters of the film coupled with building up the story line. People who have also watched Shekar's Happy Days are definitely going to feel similarity between the two, in the first half. In reality if you keenly watch, the entire proceedings are about youth but circumstances and narration are totally different. The only similarity is that both films are centered around youth, a trademark of Amigo creations.
However the second half is entirely different and narration builds momentum as the film progresses. Dialogues have struck chords with public and applause after each scene becomes a part of the film. After the phenomenal success of Antyakshari in Gabbar Singh, LIB is also smitten by this bug. But the difference is that it is more melodiously shot amidst the leads of the film. The climax is melodramatic, but shoots a subtle message that needs to be seen on the big screen.

Performance :

Life is Beautiful review All the six new faces, Abijeet, Sudhakar, Kaushik, Shagun, Zara, Rashmi, Kavya, Naveen, Vijay, Sanjeev and Sriram, are well balanced. The girls are gorgeous and the boys are suave. Amala steals the show with sentimental display. Her re-entry in the second half, awakens the natural star in her that was dormant for quite sometime. Shriya is hot and her usual self, while Anjala Jhaveri is quite glamorous defying age. Her rain song in the first half is awesome. Handling all the departments of story telling, Shekar Kammula excels.
In a Nutshell: LIB is a youthful fresh film in the not-to-miss category. A mixed treat to youth and their parents, as well. LIB follows the youth through their journey of life in all seasons. That includes festive celebrations combined with roller coaster romances. From the street fights to the duties towards the family after attaining adulthood, are well depicted. These are sure to receive applause from one and all.
Final Word: Life Is Beautiful Review Shekar Kammula, as a director is on a hat trick, LIB is sure to be a youth anthem in addition to being a whole some family entertainer. (AW-AarKay)
