Story

Masala Movie is a Makki ki makki remake of Bol Bachchan without adding any Telugu flavor to it. Rahman (Ram) and Sania (Anjali) are siblings whose property is in dispute in the courts. As living at their native place became difficult for them as Rahaman do not have a job to survive. They leave the place for Bheemarajapuram where Balaram (Venkatesh) lives. Balaram is a powerful person in the village who can never tolerate a person telling a lie but Rahman tells lies forced by the situation and goes on telling lies to cover previous lies. It makes his life miserable and a laughing subject to the audience as the film makers aimed.

What happens to Rahman who made his name as Ram when the truth has to be spilled is something to be seen on screen.

Analysis :

 Masala-Telugu-Movie-review
Only Venkatesh’s performance and Ram’s dances and Jaya Prakash Reddy’s variety role are worth seeing. Heroines have no scope to show their acting talent. Even the Venkatesh’s funny dialogues of English were felt exaggerated some times to irritate rather than amusing. Brahmanandam, MS Narayana and Ali gave some relief from boring but they were understandably given only short time.

Performance :

 Masala-Telugu-Movie-review
Excepting Venkatesh and comedians acting nothing much is worth talking about. There is nothing new in the story to interest the audience. Director Vijay Bhaskar only dittoed the Bol Bachchan movie directed by Rohit Shetty scene by scene in Telugu. Thaman’s music is not up to the mark. Director seems to have lost interest in improvising the story. He simply went by the original in a mechanical way. That is why a formal following is present but the soul is missing.

Final Word: Masala Telugu Movie Review Main aim of the movie is to entertain audience with comedy scenes but the very comedy part has failed horribly. Out of all Rasas, Hasya Rasa is the toughest to perform. An additional care is required to take in that sort of movies. But even normal care taking is lacking in the movie. The best advice is you can avoid the movie if you can.

Story

Bhai Nagarjuna in Hongkong has a bhai (brother) in Hyderabad who is an undercover cop Arjun (Prasanna) who becomes a needle in the neck for the underworld activities. Nag working for the big boss David (Ashish Vidyarthi) and his son (Sonu Sood) comes to Hyderabad to do with the undercover cop but comes to know that he is his own brother. After that Nag’s plans change. He then starts saving Arjun from the big bad guys.

Analysis :

 Bhai-review
If you are looking for good plot or a different story Bhai is definitely not the right pick. Even a great fan may lose patience in the love scenes with Richa. Father- son, brother-sister and brother-brother sentiments are not pictured rightly.

All the effort the director Veerabhadram made was to give a rich look and focus more on the hero as if it is his debut film of Nagarjuna.

Apart from a small turn in the story, Brahmanandam’s comedy and first song there is not much to expect in the movie. All it is having is a routine stuff and dull pace.

Performance :

 Bhai-review
As written earlier the sole purpose of the movie seems to make it a show case for Nagarjuna’s acting talent. Excepting the role of Brahmanandam’s comedy role, nobody else is given proper importance in the script that made it difficult to show their worth. Richa and Sonu Sood were wasted along with many other actors. But as the scope is given to full extent to Nag, he acted very well as usual in fights and sentiments, making punches with dialogues and dancing.

Veerabhadram failed in making it an entertainer and Devi Sri Prasad failed in the music and also Sameer Reddy failed in his job of Cinematography. The movie shows how bad an expert can work and how a talent can be wasted.

Final Word: Bhai Telugu Movie Review If you are a fan of Nagarjuna and want to see him on the screen better go to one of his old movies instead of watching Bhai and repent for it. If you want to watch a good movie during the weekend, Bhai is certain to disappoint you. If you don’t watch it, you will not miss anything but rather be saved from a bad taste in the mouth.
