Story

The story revolves around Srinivas (Udayanidhi Stalin) and Meera (Hansika Motvani). The story starts with Srinivas receiving a wedding card of his ex-long Meera. He wants to stop the wedding and therefore leaves for the venue. As he heads towards the wedding venue, the flash back opens up wherein Srinvas would be shown as a loafer, who works at INOX theatre. He along with his friends passes comments on girls who stops at the traffic signal near the theatre. One day Srinivas happens to see Meera (Hansika). He persuades her to love him. Initially she denies but admits at a later point of time. But, they break up suddenly. Why they break up and how they patch up forms the remaining part of the movie.

Analysis :

OK Ok review Lack of strong story is one big setback to this film. Although Santhanam (who played a close friend of Stalin) tickled the ribs of the audience in the first half, second half was literally boring even comedy too. The love tract between Srinivas and Meera didn't work out and the chemistry too was not okay. There was no suspense and viewers could easily understand what the next scene would be. The main asset of the movie is the music scored by Harris Jayaraj. Production values too were good.

Performance :

OK Ok review The life and soul of them movie was Santhanam. Dayanidhi Stalin was ok and so was Hansika. Sayaji Shide too gave his best. Andrea Jeremiah appears in the climax and was looking good.
Final Word: OK OK Review Comedy entertainer, which missed its target.  (AW- Phani)

The much awaited film of the year, Mask, by director Mysskin (born Shanmugha Raja) has hit the theatres across the globe today. This Tamil straight film, Mugamoodi, was dubbed into Mask in Telugu. While the movie opened to a good response from the public in Tamil Nadu, Mask received average response in AP. Although there's no novelty in the concept, the direction and screenplay worked wonders for the film, which was something like old wine in new bottle. Story

The story revolves around a martial arts specialist and his love episode. Anand (Jiiva) will master martial arts but loafs around instead of making use of his skills for earning bread and butter. One day he happens to fall in love with a girl named Shakti (Pooja Hegde), the daughter of police commissioner Gaurav (Nassar). Anand (also called as Bruce Lee in the movie) in order to impress Shakti and her niece, he wears the mask of a super man each time he visits them. One day, when he's on the way to his home with that superman costume, he gets himself caught between the cops and gangsters. With the help of his martial arts, Anand helps police to bust a burglar. But, he ignored that he welcome the wrath of a head of the gang Dragon (Narain) with whom Anand fought. What happens next forms the remaining part of the story.

Analysis :

Mask review As said earlier, it's old wine in the new bottle. But, the new bottle formula fortunately worked for Mysskin, who already labelled himself as a critically acclaimed director. With a perfect mix of commercial elements, Mask managed to enthralled scores of audience. Although the movie shooting was completed in just 105 days, the movie came well. The music of the Mask, scored by K, already became a super hit and they appeared good on the screen too. Sathya's cinematography too worked wonders for the movie. Hats off to costume designer Gabriella who worked about six months to bring out the mask, suit and belt for Bruce Lee.

Performance :

Mask review Jiiva undoubtedly gave his best. Since he was already mastered in Kungfu, he was perfect as Bruce Lee. Special mention is about debutant actress Pooja Hegde, who was no way in comparison with contemporary actresses. She looked gorgeous and performed well. Narain as Dragon gave outstanding performance. Other actors such as Nassar, Girish Karnad and Anupama Kumar gave their best.
Final Word: Mask Review Old wine in new bottle (TW- Phani)

Story

Srimannarayana (Balakrishna) is a powerful journalist, who fights all odds in the society with his gutts. He initially saves a lady journo (Parvathy Melton) who later falls in love. Isha Chawla plays his cousin and fiancee while Vijay Kumar plays father of Balakrishna. The story revolves around Srimannarayana and his aim to fulfill his father's dreams. How Srimannarayana achieves his aim forms the remaining part of the story.

Analysis :

Srimannaryana review The direction and screenplay of Ravi Chavali are the main assets of the film. Another highlight of the film is dialogue. Written by Ravi Chavali, every punch dialogue uttered by Balakrishna literally wooed the audience who whistled and clapped throughout the film. Music, composed by Chakri, was okay. Cinematography was good too. It looks like producer Ramesh Puppala made a good choice by selecting Ravi Chavali and Balakrishna. Costumes could have been better. Choreography too was okay. The choreography was okay. Screenplay could have been better. The punch dialogues of Balakrishna were good. Some dialogues such as "Baadadaniki bio-data enduku ra..." and ""Sri Krishnudu bhagavadgeetha Arjunudu okkadike gaa cheppaadu. Mari prapanchamanthaa elaa leak ayindi? Appudu koodaa piracy undaa?" received good response. But, on the whole, cinema was okay.

Performance :

Srimannaryana review Balakrishna is the life and soul of the movie and his performance was up to the mark. Isha Chawla and Parvathy Melton did justice to their roles although they had not much scope to perform. Vijay Kumar's acting was outstanding. Kota Srinivas did splendid job as a bank manager. Jaya Prakash Narayana gave deadly performance as antagonist. Dharmavarapu Subramanyam made people laugh out their lungs.

Final WordSrimannarayana Review is a mass entertainer.
